Stuttering back

After a long hiatus...
Read this somewhere and wanted to capture it, so here it is...

I was talking with someone today about how sometimes the mistake the people make in thinking about innovation is trying to make it too big, when incremental improvements sometimes deliver a more compelling use case and better margins.

While I'd still like to think about big ideas at work (like it something you "do"), I think articulating the minor improvements we make everyday need to be applauded and celebrated too, for the incremental benefits they accrue. This is probably a good guiding principle in real life as well. Baby steps....everywhere!
